The Law Society endorses The Association of British Investigators
14/07/2010
The Law Society, the representative body for the solicitor’s profession in England and Wales, has today endorsed The Association of British Investigators by recommending to its own solicitor members the use of ABI members for the provision of private investigation services as a means of mitigating risk, based on the ABI’s vetting procedures.
To protect the interests of the public, the Association of British Investigators, the oldest professional body for private investigators in the world, is the only industry body in Great Britain to examine all applicants for membership; insist on thorough, ongoing vetting of all members, to include CRB checks, data protection registration and notification and the holding of a policy of professional indemnity insurance.
